"cut a deal" Blocking 101

"cut a deal" Blocking 101
(VIEW A LARGER VERSION)

After weeks of manic client projects and flitting from one art direction gig to the next, I finally had a proper day off today. So I picked up from where I was last week and did a first-pass blocking of the shot. For those not in the know, when blocking a scene you only put in the essential story-telling poses i.e. the bare-minimum acting required of your characters. These are known as the "keys" and if done right, should be enough to determine whether your ideas for the intended final performance are clear, apropriately staged and most importantly - entertaining to watch.
