Last Tuesday's life drawing class was fairly productive. Lots of short poses and quick sketching. Here are some studies I did in carcoal:

We had two models for the enire day in a large twin studio, so there was plenty of space to move around and draw from as many angles as we wanted. Here's a 30-minute pencil sketch of the same pose from a different view:
...a vague attempt at studying the planes and muscles of the form as described by the light in the studio.
